HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Wellspring Family Celebrates With Special Events

turkeyThe Wellspring family celebrates the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons with several special not-to-be-missed events.

The Wellspring Family gathered together after worship Sunday to celebrate with the Annual Thanksgiving Potluck.  The turnout was great and the food was plentiful and delicious!

Next is the Annual Hanging of the Greens this Sunday, Nov. 30, at 6 p.m.   While listening to wonderful songs of the season, Wellspring members will decorate the church together.   There will be time for light snacks, too.   Please bring one poinsettia per family.

Silver and Gold . . . An Evening to Remember
Get ready to shine at this year's Women's Annual Christmas Celebration on Friday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m.   The theme of this year's event is elegance, as the ladies dress up in their prettiest party dresses for an evening of splendor to include dinner, glamour photo shots and the traditional ornament exchange.

Tickets are available for $10, which includes the meal and the glamour photo shot.

Christmas Eve Service
Who does not feel the excitement and happiness that comes with seeing the first decorated Christmas tree of the season.  But the real beauty of the Christmas tree goes so much deeper than merely tinsel, lights and ornaments.  There is a unique relationship between Christmas time and the Christmas tree.

Join us at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve as we mark the birth of our Savior with beautiful music, Communion, candlelight and the Christmas Tree.

Sermon Series Probes Reasons Christianity is the Better Choice

betterPastor Kelly Carr continues this Sunday with the "Better" sermon series based on the book of Hebrews.   This week, "Move Over, Moses!"  It seems that great leaders are either idolized or villified.  Moses was no exception.  If you try to step out in obedience to God, you may experience the same.  Yet, there is a word in this passage that describes both Moses and Jesus and all who receive the applause of Heaven.  Perhaps it could be said of you, too.

Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium.
Quick Start Class Begins Dec. 7
